Description
Landscape with Clouds is an original oil painting that combines a real place with an imagined distance. The foreground was inspired by the countryside of the Lublin region in eastern Poland, while the far horizon and distant forms were developed partly from imagination.
The painting is built around the movement of clouds and the contrast between warm evening tones and cooler blues in the sky. A low, dark foreground opens toward a luminous distance, where the landscape becomes less literal and more dreamlike.
