This original oil painting by Andrea Bocedi presents a summer meadow at
the edge of a forest, with a group of golden birch trees forming the
principal foreground motif.

Beyond the birches, the landscape opens into a broad field leading
toward a distant blue-green forest line. The composition combines the
intimacy of the nearby trees with the spaciousness of the open meadow.

Warm summer light and an open landscape

The painting is organised around the contrast between the warm golden
foliage in the foreground and the cooler colour of the distant trees
and sky.

Green, ochre and muted yellow passages describe the meadow without
separating it into individual grasses. Broad horizontal marks create
openness, while the more active brushwork of the birches gives the
foreground greater texture and visual energy.

The low horizon allows the sky and field to remain spacious. Rather than
